Walking across the “sacred high” bridge

Every kind of life has pain or problems. That is the reason why the ability to find a quality of presence is kind of a must. By learning to breathe mindfully, the mind and heart are naturally open to the moment, then to see, feel, and find the truth concealed in it. A greater unity within then happens surprisingly. As the mind with heart continues to pay attention closer to the happenings, the subconscious mind will be honest to the self — articulately speaking the truth within.

The amazing part is when the mind with heart notices that things that used to be stressful are less and less stressful. The healing process is then happening….  walking across the “sacred high” bridge to be in the “Otherness” becomes the honest, humble articulation from the simultaneous deep desire within for becoming. Because the joy within is excessive, they wouldn’t want to enjoy it alone but wants to tell everyone about this majestic experience. Let this all sink in for a moment… Just be in the moment… to rejoice and to praise.

Misconception about happiness is common

Misconception about happiness is common. We convince ourselves that life will be better if we have a larger home, a nicer car, and a corner office. We tell ourselves we’ll be happier if we are married, or if we are singles, or if we have children, or if we get divorced. We tell ourselves that life will be better once we finish a difficult task at work or perhaps when we change jobs altogether.

As we are constantly shown, the truth is that life is always full of challenges. Happiness doesn’t suddenly, permanently envelop us when we’ve completed a task or cleared an obstacle. At some point, we must admit that these tasks and obstacles are life and decide to be happy despite them.

Is there a solution to this universal problem?

There is, in a single verse in the Bhagavadgita (V.23):

“Only he who can keep in control here itself the pressure mounted by desire and anger can be happy; he is a true yogin.”

This formula for happiness is brief, crisp, and lucid, with no ambiguity. If we learn to govern our passions, we can be happy here and now. Transforming the old core belief system is a must. The difficulty is in the consistent and persistent daily implementation, which often we need support and guidance.

The Power of Attention

If the eye is clear, our body will be full of light. When our attention is receptive and accepting, everything we see may become an object of meditation, a teaching source.

Even the most difficult and painful feelings and emotions can become teachers and companions for us as we experience them arising in the present.

There is wisdom from the fifteenth-century poet, “When the eyes and ears are open, even the leaves on the trees teach like pages from the scriptures.”

Where shall we place our attention? As we move through the days of our lives, how shall we keep our eyes clear, our hearts open, and our spirits alive and awake in the present moment? If we find ourselves thinking all day about whether or not we are loved, or how we can protect ourselves from danger, or how we can impress others with our skills and achievements, then we are condemned to languish in a prison of our own making.

Where we look and how we see gives birth to the kind of life we will live. If we see the only danger, we live in fear; if we seek what is gentle and true, we will find ourselves on a path of serenity and peace.

Healing Transformation

The human personality begins in the unconscious, called the individuation process. The individuation process occurs when the unknown sacred potential seed emerges with the ultimate living energy in the unconscious. This process symbolizes the unconscious’s power, whereas it shows how the fragile consciousness (referring to the ego) is born to be free and gain strength through the infinite process.

It is not only the “ego” that first emerges from the unconsciousness. It grows through, with, and in the unconsciousness. This sacred mystery communication within is a must process in this realm.

That is why in the individuation process, the individual needs to connect to the depths, the wider, and the integrated life within as much as possible. Every internal and external disruption could affect this fragile process and create certain disorders. Thus, the ability to admit that there are disorders as a reality within becomes the act of accepting the self. This ability starts from the consciousness, which then descends to the depth and wider layers of unconsciousness.

Therefore, the individual who can accept his/her depth realities, whatever they are (i.e., the realities within), has started the healing transformation process. The acceptance process, in mysterious ways, will resonate in the deep collective layers of unconsciousness. The healing journey toward self begins when the individual can take things as they are.

The process will take time, of course, and with leaps and bounds. When “wisdom begins,” the new expected reality is happening. Each thought becomes each step that leads to little healing transformation.

Declutter The Mind

Feeling stuck?
Oppressed feeling because somehow watches life go by with mounting anxiety and self-discomfortable.
Sometimes we need to wonder if we are stuck because we are overly loyal to old ideas or belief systems that we cling to too much to protect them.

Therefore the idea of “just breathe” at least will give a pause to the self, to have the capability to switch to see, to listen, to feel with different perspectives, to pay more attention to our “map of reality” to transform, to heal, and to liberate.

We can start asking whether, beneath our practical dilemma, there may be a childhood law at work.

We must dig beneath the surface by asking radical questions and searching for the authentic roles of emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual structures.

We want to discover the hidden laws that powerfully control our way of being, understanding, and reacting.

In this transformation, we need to gently and patiently dismantle those childhood laws that have been reigning within as “error-parental figures” (referring to the old dogmatic belief system that leads to stagnation).

Let’s echo these words in our interior castle of the soul:
“My personal peace, my personal transformation, is a process that will take time. It’s not going to happen all at once. There might be leaps and bounds from time to time, but it will be a series of small steps for the most part. Each step is a little more understanding, a little more peaceful. In each step, I make an effort to heal myself in some small way, to accept myself in some small way, to love myself in some small way, and to be easy with myself in some small way. I allow myself to be easy with myself, be easy with the process, and be at peace. One little step at a time.”

Merasa terjebak? Perasaan tertekan karena entah bagaimana menyaksikan kehidupan berlalu dengan kecemasan yang memuncak dan tidak nyaman dengan diri sendiri. Kadang-kadang kita perlu bertanya-tanya apakah kita terjebak karena kita terlalu setia pada ide-ide lama atau pada sistem kepercayaan yang terlalu kita pegang teguh untuk melindunginya.

Oleh karena itu gagasan “sekedar bernafas” setidaknya akan memberikan jeda pada diri sendiri, memiliki kemampuan untuk beralih melihat, mendengar, merasakan dengan cara pandang yang berbeda; untuk lebih memperhatikan “peta realitas” kita untuk mentransformasikan, menyembuhkan, dan membebaskan.

Kita bisa mulai bertanya apakah di bawah dilema praktis kita, mungkin ada hukum masa kanak-kanak yang bekerja. Kita perlu menggali di bawah permukaan dengan mengajukan pertanyaan radikal untuk mencari peran otentik dari struktur emosional, psikologis, fisik, dan spiritual.

Kita ingin menemukan hukum tersembunyi di alam bawah sadar, yang mengontrol cara berada, cara memahami, dan cara bereaksi.

Dalam proses transformasi ini, kita perlu dengan lembut dan sabar membongkar hukum masa kanak-kanak yang telah berkuasa di dalam sebagai “figur orangtua yang keliru” (Mengacu pada dogma-dogma masalalu, yang membentuk cara berpikir tertentu dan membuat stagnasi hidup).

Mari kita gemakan kata-kata ini di interior batin jiwa kita: “Kedamaian pribadi, transformasi pribadi adalah proses yang akan memakan waktu. Ini tidak akan terjadi sekaligus. Dari waktu ke waktu, mungkin ada lompatan dan batasan tetapi sebagian besar, adalah serangkaian langkah-langkah kecil. Setiap langkah sedikit lebih pengertian, sedikit lebih damai. Dalam setiap langkah saya menyembuhkan diri, menerima diri, mencintai diri dengan cara-cara sederhana. Kita belajar sabar dan mengasihi diri dan sabar serta menghargai proses menjadi. Saya memberi izin untuk menjadi mudah dengan diri saya sendiri, untuk menjadi mudah dengan proses menjadi, dan berdamai. Selangkah demi selangkah. “

Our Purpose and Life Meaning

Seringkali karena tantangan and kesulitan hidup, cara kita melihat dunia diluar diri kita and dalam diri kita jadi terbolak balik. (Misalnya mengukur hidup utuh ilahi dengan nilai nilai duniawi). Karena cara pikir and cara lihat tersebut, kita tanpa sadar berendang di dunia yang terbatas (mortality – mengarah kepada kematian – ke dosa-an) ketimbang berdasarkan nilai2 ilahi. Nah, mukjijat yang sangat luar biasa dalam hidup kita adalah inkarnasi Allah ke dalam hidup kita. Inkarnasi ini terjadi karena demi pemulihan kita dari cara pikir kita yang terbalik. Inkarnasi Allah ini membantu kita untuk Merealisasikan ke Ilahian kita – membantu menghadirkan keilahian kita semasa kita di dunia ini. Cara sederhana nya adalah dengan: mengaktualisasikan kualitas ilahi diri kita yang terbaik seperti hal nya pucuk bunga yang merekah penuh.
